Canvas

Edit where your visitors read

  1. Click the text on the canvas and type right in it: the site looks the way visitors will see it.

  2. Drag a block from the library onto the page, or reorder the blocks.

  3. A button leads to a page of the site or to an https address. If a page is deleted, the editor marks the button that led to it.

Themes

Five themes, the same site

  1. A theme is a palette, a pair of typefaces and corner radii. There are five: Sand, Ink, Meadow, Harbour and Bloom.

  2. Pick another and the whole site restyles itself; the blocks and the text stay where they are.

  3. Changing the theme is a change like any edit: it goes into the history and can be undone.

  1. Describe what to change. The agent works only with the blocks and pages of this site.

  2. Every change it makes shows in the chat and on the canvas at once.

  3. Don’t like it? One button undoes everything the agent did for that request.

In the demo the agent takes a limited number of requests per hour and per day. If the agent is unavailable, the editor says so, and you can still edit the site by hand.

History

Every edit stays in the history

  1. Every change, yours or the agent’s, is kept as a separate version.

  2. Click a version and the canvas shows the site as it was. It is a preview only.

  3. Restore it, and the current state stays in the history too, ready to come back.

In the demo the history opens after you sign in: it lives in your account.

Publishing

Publish a version, keep editing

  1. Pick an address and the site opens there for everyone: page.redactor.dev/@name.

  2. Visitors see the published version, with no editor, no sign-in and no drafts.

  3. Edits reach the site when you publish it again.
